Tell us a bit about your story before enrolling in the Institute of Digital Marketing
What influenced your decision to study in the digital field?
As my honours degree was in Law and Economics, it became apparent that I would need something more digitally focused on my CV, if I were to pursue a role in Digital Marketing.
Why did you choose to study with the Institute of Digital Marketing?
I had heard a lot of reviews from people in the industry about the benefits of DMI in this area. Additionally, the chance to learn from the very tenured lecturers that they have on staff was the main draw for me.
Since completing the course, how has your Career progressed, what company are you currently employed with?
My career has progressed significantly! I am currently employed as a Senior Support Engineer and Team Lead in HubSpot.
Is there any advice you would give to new students?
I would highly advise being strict with yourself and attending all online classes provided. All of the information that is so important that missing one online class could mean that you are behind on a highly important aspect of Digital Marketing. I would also recommend using as much as you can in your current position. Seeing the application in your own company/industry allows you to see the true effects of Digital Marketing.
